What about Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein?
Tremors (1990)
Evil Dead 2 (1987)
Army Of Darkness (1992)
From Dusk Till Dawn (1996)
Zombieland (2009)
Shaun Of The Dead(2004)
Gremlins (1984)
The Lost Boys (1987)
Ghostbusters (1984)
Ghostbusters 2 (1989)
The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)
Corpse Bride(2006)
are my favorite horror-comedy movies.
Surely Beetlejuice could be a honorable mention
I stopped watching when you said VAN HELSING was better than THE LOST BOYS.
I thought 💭 children 🧒 of the corn 🌽 should be in there.
What about Beetlejuice?
How does Corey Feldman look younger as an adult than he did as a kid….?
Say what you will about WatchMojo, but this might be the BEST list of must-watch movies ever! Like I wrote the list myself!
Killer Klowns From Outer Space and The Frighteners are more funny than scary to me
My go to is Dracula Dead and Loving it with the great Leslie Nielsen
The best Horror movie that won't scare you and even make you smile is "The fearless vampire killers" by Roman Polanski.
I think monsters and ghosts fear 1080p more then anything.😱
lol i will never understand people that get scared watching horror movies. feel adrenaline? sure. excitement? sure. fright? lol
Shaun of the Dead should be an honorable mention at least!
'Dracula: Dead and Loving It' with Leslie Nielsen. Although a comedy, has an eerie feeling to it.
You could've added Goosebumps, they had twists and turns and very creative monsters Ghosts
Shaun of the Dead
Rocky Horror was a horror movie??? Or a campy transtravite treat.??? Time Warp is a powerful movie song.❤️❤️❤️💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️ The Lost Boys was a showcase for really attractive people.
What no leprechaun 1and 2
Totally missing Beetlejuice and Ghostbusters but, not a bad list.
Like horror flicks but don't like to be scared? Check out the Dead Meat channel, where James A. Janisse does hilarious "kill counts" of scary movies.
the only scary thing about Rocky Horror Picture Show is how SEXY tim curry was in that movie
The Lost Boys is certainly 80's along the The Terminator. Yeah maybe Jaws is mild horror Evil Dead 2 I don't think it great as a lot of people say it is.
Really missing Shaun of the dead on this list
I’m not so sure if The Nightmare Before Christmas is an actual horror movie, because not every film that looks like that is in the horror genre, again, it’s a holiday film.
Some more I would put on my list:
1. Attack of the Killer Tomatoes
2. The Killer Shrews
3. Plan 9 From Outer Space
4. Killer Klowns From Outer Space
5. Mars Attacks
6. Young Frankenstein
7. Shaun of the Dead
8. Beetlejuice
9. Troll
10. Ghostbusters
11. The Addams Family 1 and 2
12. Fright Night
13. Transylvania 6-5000
Ect.
Why isn't Hell Raiser on the in the list?
I would have also added Beetlejuice, Underworld, Ghostbusters 1 and 2, The 'Burbs, and Phantom of The Paradise.
I knew about Evil Dead II as a kid because an episode of ReBoot had the main characters fight a spoof of Ash Williams. Said character even dies shouting "I'm dead before dawn!! I'm dead before dawn!!". XD
I recommend Phantom of the Paradise.
Yes the Rocky Picture Horror Show and The Lost Boys and Van Helsing and Little Shop of Horror and The Nightmare Before Christmas and Jaws and The Cabin in the Woods and Evil Dead 2
Jaws – "light hearted", "campy" ? These days suspenseful but not outright terrifying…that said, only today our beaches are closed because of sharks sighted near swimming areas.
"Frankenstein's Monster"…. 4:46 anyone see the resemblance to Palpatine/Sidious?
If a singing, creepy, sentient pitch-plant is not scary, nothing is! (tongue in cheek of course). Rick Moranis needs pull that Proton-pack out of storage. (Ghostbuster released, 1984, Little shop of horrors, 1986).
The only comment I can add concerning that guy jumping his bike into the side of the building is "missed it by that much…"
What happened to Young Frankenstein?
8 Legged Freaks is listed as a horror movie.
It has like 2 jump scares and is mostly comedy.
And it has Scarlett Johansson before she was famous.
Excuse me, I think there's a Beetlejuice appearance missing in the list
The Frightners & The Black Cauldron
I'd argue for the first "Final Destination" movie.
Gremlins and Beetlejuice
If you included "Jaws (1975) in this list, then you must include "The Birds (1963)" too…
Its scare factor doesn't hold up to today's standards of horror films…
0:30/12:51 what is that movie?
I was hoping for some “Killer Klowns From Outerspace” here….
Even though rocky horror has horror in the title, I would have never put it in the horror category. Amazingly camp film, but definitely not a horror.
I still use "Feed me, Seymour" in my daily vernacular. (My students look at me weird and I laughed 😆)
Scouts Guide To The Zombie Apcalypse is missing & Shaun of the Dead
