  1. A found footage movie where there is a survivor would essentially mean that the film was never lost so it couldn't be a found footage movie. Or something like that. My head hurts.

  2. Cabin in the Woods and Jeepers Creepers are two of the dumbest horror movies ever made. Not scary. No horror. Just descending into unbelievable silliness.

  3. There’s a lot to be picked apart in Cabin in the Woods, but I haven’t heard anyone mention the absurdity of taking an RV to go stay in a cabin.

I watched several of these horror movies list from what culture and while I like Ashe, these lists are like the Taco Bell menu items where it is mostly the same ingredients just shuffled around differently.

  6. #2: Cannibal Holocaust – arguably the original found footage movies – is the exact opposite of that – evil gets punished.

  7. I disagree that getting revenge is evil winning. Maybe in Seven, to some extent, since the sins were still carried out, but in the other 2 cases on the list, if the villains are still dead, I'd still call that a win. With Last House on the Left, if the parents had ran away the killers would've just went after them and tried to kill them anyway because they're psychotic.

You need to make a part 2 for this video because as others have explained, you left out a lot. "Sinister", "Hereditary", "The Skeleton Key", "The Wicker Man", "The Strangers", "The VVitch", "Rosemary's Baby", "The Stepford Wives", "House of 1000 Corpses" etc.
