I would think 'brutally punished' falls under 'suffer along the way'.

Sidney! Scream series is my shit! The end of 3 left the remaining trio pretty decent. She felt comfortable and safe enough to leave the gate unlocked for the first time since the first attacks. Dewey and Gail get engaged.
4 however leaves us thinking it's all over but the trio realizing it'll never truly be over because of the fandom and fame of the entire situation.

Ok I'm sorry I know you guys get a lot wrong but this one really bothered me. You made it sound like Sidney's mother whored her way through Hollywood, got knocked up, gave the baby away and then had the audacity to reject said child when he tracked her down years later. When in reality she was a 19 year old girl who was ganged raped, got pregnant from said assault and gave that baby up. Understandably she rejected him when he looked her up because he was a reminder of her trauma. So how about we don't victim blame Sidney's mom ok?
Dawn of The Dead remake is nowhere near as good as the original.
